Okay, so recently I have gone back OTR. I love it, nearly everything is better than I remember. Which isn't saying much, because most of my OTR time was when I started with CR engand.
However my biggest nemesis remains. Keeping my rubber floors clean!!! I have gotten a boot caddy for outside the door to wipe off my boots before entering. I have a broom, and dustbuster. So all the dust is gone. But whatever I try to keep the rubber looking clean doesn't work. Is there anything you guys have found works well? Also what cleaning products do you all swear by for other parts of the truck?

We loved Simple Green. It's abilities are amazing. My decision was made when my trainer loaded up the back of his jacket while removing a kingpin lock. He must have wiped every bit of that black grease from the plate,,,,then got back in the cab and smeared it onto the backrest of the seat,,250 miles later,,"oh..did I do that ?". I put a garbage bag over the seat so I could drive..a few days later we got some of the Simple Green (Dollar Store ) . And after several applications and scraping it off with the fuel card we could finally see the grey fabric. We switched to a clean cloth and every bit of the grease was removed. No white bleaching either. Doesn't smell like WD40 or any chemical odor. It keeps the vinyls on the dash soft. Relubricates rubber door seal, and the floor looks showroom. Be advised though,,just like a showroom floorboard, if your boots are wet,the may want to slide. We had a piece of carpet to give us some traction until the floorboards were worn in...
Works on clothing too, mustard out of your shirt, etc.
    Good Luck hand..

Dish soap. It's cheap and has a few other uses.

I just fill up a water bottle and add a couple drops of soap. Floors need a lot of liquid to really pickup the dirt and it isn't going to be costly to use a liberal amount of it. Clindow and some water works well also.

I second the Simple Green product.

I also use Purple Power at times.

I'd be careful of putting anything Like Amoral or any other "shiny" stuff on rubber floors, as this can make them slippery when you least want your foot to slip

I think I will pick up some simple green then. Also really like the dishsiap idea. Both seem cost effective. And I'm nothing if not cheap!!

This stuff, you can get it at Wal-Mart, it's not the cheapest but is definitely the best. Not slippery or greasy and looks brand new.

I have in my kit of truck things a window cleaner bottle with dish soap and water mixed to a soapy consistency. I use it for the floor of my truck, pickup and my other vehicles to clean, also the doors and sometimes the metal dash.
