Back in Blue and it feels great! Made a mistake 3 months ago and decided to go elsewhere; mainly for summer comfort reasons, which was the worst thing I could do. So glad I am came back! Already running my tail off

Does Van Wyk have an idle policy?

Its more of a bonus, you can get a few extra bucks to keep it in the range they believe is reasonable but if money isnt the issue then idle away. I havent heard of them firing anyone for excessive idle but honestly I wouldnt blame them if your truck is idling whenever your not driving ... ie idling while its 60 at night. Its pretty fair in what they require but the most important thing to me is if you need to you can meaning they dont have kill codes on their trucks. So no pedal holding required

 

Do you guys use a dac?

 

They do report to it but other then that i dont know. Im was legit and i havent seen nor heard any false reportings by them

 

Their idle policy isnt strict. As long as it isn't north of 70% in the Summer they wont complain. During the Summer & Spring Months they give you 30-40%. They got Bunk Heaters in the winter so you wont have to idle. Usually running the Northeast during the summer it was a rare for me to Idle overnight.
