Well I would have to agree with you.. People down here just have bad attitudes for the most part.. I have been all over Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Germany (they are a little grumpy), Afghanistan, Kuwait, Ukraine and a few other places, I would say far as bad attitudes the lower 48 has to be at the top.. Now don't get me wrong America is still the best country in the world to me but we have become a nation of selfish people.. Perhaps we have had it to easy... Hard times down here with fuel prices, housing market collapse, cost of living going up all around.. Almost to the point where in order to get by you and another family will have to share a house.. Stress is what I am talking about here... Now if you do some research you will find out per person per hours put in working America is the hardest working country, each person puts much more hours in working a week then any other country,, a survey I read even labeled "America the envy of all workforces".. So less time at home with family (even though that can be stressful at times as well) generally makes people more stressed thus grumpy..

Alaska has a different atmosphere up there.. Anyways even though I would say most are just like the people you met there are still good people here as well... Just blow it off and have a good time...


Have fun on your trip and wish I was on the road trip with you all,, I miss those days..

 

Ah I see, I missed the gay part... Dude I don't know what to tell you about that.. I myself have heard this many times on the radio as well... They just don't shut up and keep going on and on with their disgusting remarks and request.. I tell you what, if somebody did that back in the day when my father was a truck driver they would be, well lets just say they would not be safe doing so if you know what i mean.. You have all these gay rights things going on and laws that let them get married ext.. even have laws if you beat one up you get a "stiffer" (that was joke word) sentence.. that part is true tho, you subjected to more penalties ext..

Really don't know whats going on wit our society anymore.. You want to be gay sure that's fine but keep that crap behind closed doors...

 

Well boy18 all I can say is that is you just heard some of the bad things like every job you have ##### out there so don't let it bother you.

I know the guy's in West canada are very kewl but so are 90% of the chaps down in 48 of u.s.a.
As I live in B.C I know there are really bad or dummy's here to ,and for what the driver said to you just smile and rub it off (no pun intended)

I will make a blanket statement:

Most truck drivers are morons on the CB.

Now, if you read that and get upset, then you might think I was taking about you, and I would ask you why you would think that.

If you agreed with that statement, then I would guess you do like I do: turn the stupid thing off and only use it when absolutely necessary.

Do you want to object and say that 4 wheelers have CB's too? I would say yes, but only very few, compared to trucks.

Remember, "From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." So if a person is always talking trash about gay topics, and insulting with those, then that persons heart is filled with deviant sexual thoughts. If you say something, and the first thing you hear is someone say something stupid in a sexual context, that is where they live.

It is sad, but without restraint, the soul is sinful. And there is no restraint on the CB.

 

The people in the lower 48 states are constantly bombarded/brainwashed by "Kid friendly" Hollywood movies/video's/ads etc. you name it....Hollywood< "the great pig stye" keeps members of your non immediate family rolling in the mud......


by the way Cher will be humping Danny Devito in her next film ......and Danny will come out after he gained 20 million from the movie and say he can't afford his 200 room Palace anymore.......His loyal fans will purchase a 300 room Palace just for him...........< depicts life in Good Old California.......
