i do agree he brought up some valid points but seriously at least flow around someone who aint a super trucker from the 70's. I can help but think that this was all really just a setup because we all know that is not a true rep for the industry at ALL. Plus how the heck do you expect to pay bills traveling only 65k a year?

If his truck is any indication then if someone were to dig up the property around his trailer in the woods then I'm sure they'd find missing girls from the last 30 years.

That truck scares me. I'm going to have nightmares.

I agree with both of you, again I support OO's but its guys like this that really are what many in the world think of truckers and I hate it. I am in shape, young, clean cut ( most days ), shower at least once a day ( most days ), and I have an it background. We all come from different walks and although the video brought up some solid points it shows a man who really isnt a good rep for our industry. I feel for the guy in a way but the other side of me says man clean yourself up!
A good OO can make tons of money if one his only family is a dog, two if he lives in a paid off trailer, three has decent equiptment and can repair it himself, and finally if your out as much as he claims with paid off equiptment then he should be rolling in the money.TruckDuo Thanks this. -
I'm sure his parents taught him better.
fatherofthree Thanks this. -

He's the kind of character they love to write stories about. Unbiased reporting my ###.
TruckDuo and fatherofthree Thank this. -
Well, when they mentioned the number of truck-car accidents, at least they didn't leave out the part where most of those accidents were caused by the 4-wheeler. Most other news rags pretty much put the blame on the truckers and leave out that part (but most of you already knew that). So, I guess I'll have to give Al-Jazeera credit for that; our "own" news media is too busy committing industry-wide character assassinations on freight jockeys to even think about being objective.
fatherofthree Thanks this.
