Yes my B.S. is from Univ. of SC in Psychology and a Minor in Philosophy and my Masters in Divinity is from Liberty. Also sounds like you got slighted in school also.

I wouldn't worry much about it
    .... You're not a certified mechanic anyway
I hope you get your wages and find a good company to work for
Nothing on earth is out of your league because you belong to the one who sits on high and owns cattle on a thousand Hills and I might add this...
" who said you were naked"?
Go get em brother , do I have to remind you ... You are expected to walk
    sure footed in victory?
As you already know children of the King are very unstoppable, why?
... Because he himself is unstoppable ... Yes we can even tap dance on the Devils head if we choose to do so, according to the authority of his name given to those that belong to him
......i will not let my brothers be discouraged because IT IS part of my job To edify & encourage NOT because of me BUT because of him ( our redeemer is coming)

    Thanks, man.

Here is the situation I'm in. I have been accepted at one of the two seminaries I have applied to (the other is pending) and I am planning to go this fall. For the time being, I need some kind of work for the next 3 months or so. My expenses are way too high and I have student loans already.

I kind-of doubt something like McDonalds will cut-it as far as expenses are concerned, but I only need a job that is seasonal. Also, I think it is asinine for a bottom-of-the-barrel job that most people consider to be a jo to the strictest rules, including forbidding me to have a beard.

If there is anything out there trucking has to offer that can help with this, that would be great.

LTL would be a good choice
... If by chance you live near a city.... P&d with a LTL company is almost always a day shift , it's a faster pace of work but you are home every day and can make a decent wage.
These are common carriers like :
USF HOLLAND, OLD DOMINION, CONWAY, ESTES & such
    .... Beverage haulers
    .... Garbage haulers
    ... Groceries haulers
    .... Dedicated lanes
Are more some other avenues for you

I was a bi-vocational pastor and drove for a local company. If you go to seminary you might want to look for local dump companies and ltl. In my case my dispatcher worked with me so that I worked about 3 to 4 full days a week which really helped on the budget while giving me the time I needed for the church. Just something to think about.

If being home on weekends is important to you, otr probably isn't for you. I have my own truck and make my own schedule, yet I know I can't guarantee that I will be home every weekend if I still want to make a living. Just a little note about having Sundays off. If it is against your religion to work on Sunday an employer has to make every reasonable effort to accommodate you. Generally that means if you work at Walmart they have to give you Sunday off, but if you are a first responder they don't. A trucking company might give you Sundays off, but not necessarily at home.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

DEF makes exhaust more offensive to smell and it created an additional layer of failure-prone garbage. Modern trucks are not only aesthetically offensive, many of them are "throw-away" trucks.
