Sure,no toll either. There is a hazmat or gas restriction of some sort. And if you're oversize, there is a check station before the tunnel you have to stop at.

When I renew my tags in August that's a sure thing since all 48 will be on there again. Do what I gotta do. I know i've turned down lots of good paying loads going up that way. Now it'll be an option.

Don't go far up into the Northeast. Years ago the options out of there were empty or a load that might pay for the fuel. I very much doubt anything has changed.

Yeah that's what I figured but it's easy enough to get a round trip rate when you turn down dozens of potential loads going there. Just based off the fact you "refuse to go there regardless of the offered rate", and then the desperate ones take pause, explain how they can pay what it takes, wondering why you won't?

Even though I will have the option on my cab card I'll still treat it as somewhere I never go. That will weed out the cheap freight from the serious people who intend to move a load whatever it takes. It will be profitable and lucrative. I don't need any friends with freight going to the northeast buhahaha.

Like I was saying, there's been a few missed opportunities the past 3 or so years. Used to run up and down 81 weekly for over 10 years. It just got old. Going through there for the first time in years this evening. Kind of curious to see what if any changes have been made.
