Probably CSA points... multiple violations on a single stop would be my guess.

I have been doing research on this subject (CSA POINTS), because of the 2 citations/3 violations I received last year. I have been hearing stories from many drivers about points, not just few points but, 130 or higher and lower. I remember when the powers that be were talking on the radio or in mags about CSA 2010 and it was stated very clearly there would be no points. But, I keep hearing all these high numbers and I can't find anything on points from CSA. The only numbers I have found that can be looked at as points are the ones assigned for each violation, anywhere from 1-10 As was mentioned earlier in this thread.

The poster that I asked about the points stated they had 38 from just hitting a deer, I would like to know where they are getting this number from. I believe now, after reading this whole thread that she got the number from her carrier. Now what I want to know is where are these carriers getting these numbers/points from? How are they determining them and how can they legally assign them to us?

You can also find violations by looking up the company you worked for at the time you received the inspection and it will be listed there. Usually the list is sorted by date with most recent inspection being at the top so you might have to dig a bit to find yours if it's older. They also note the state of the inspection so that can help to narrow it down as well.

I have printed off a copy of my PSP, MVR and received a copy of my DAC report just the other day. I have even filed a dispute against my DAC report for an accident in 2009. I don't dispute the accident but, how it is listed on my DAC is false. Two companies that I worked for were not on my DAC either and confused about that, I can assume there hasn't been enough time since I quit my last carrier, two months ago. But the one before that was the other carrier, a contractor for FedEx, and I left him in Feb last year, it isn't on my DAC.

Other than that, I am only trying to find out where a lot of drivers are reporting these high number's in their points,,100, 120, 140 and so on. I know my PSP is bad, 3 violations in the last year; speeding, driving on suspended and no dot # or name on truck. But, I was told my speeding ticket has 30 points. Nothing I have found shows that. Now that all being said, I have clicked on the link above from wichris, and will read it throughout the day, that may give me the answer I am looking for.

DAC/Hireright is not a part of the government, it is a private business that is contracted to carriers that pay for their services, not all carriers use it, so the ones that don't will not have any information listed.

I was at the WB Limon, Co POE one day and a driver said he was hauling sailboat fuel. Dot cop asked him why it wasn't placarded. I tried real hard to keep a straight face til I got out that door.
