I'm a short timer with SNI but it seems to be about as good as you are going to get starting out. Mileage money is less than others but then the benefits are cheaper (insurance, etc). They paid my CDL tuition so they "own" me for 6 months and put me in Dry Vans. I want to go to tankers after 6 months but we'll see.
I run OTR out of West Memphis, AR. and seem to stay mostly east on the Mississippi with a couple of trips to Houston.
They tick me off now and then but all companies would. Its the nature of the beast we ride. Equipment maintenance is great!! I've never seen a company that takes care like they do.
My DBL is a pretty nice guy. He really does take care of me. Can't complain there.
When it comes to a trucking company my advice would be to find out where and what they haul and if that suits you go with it!
I was taking home about $700 a week my first month but my hours and loads were off my second month and that dropped to $600-650.
They have been good at bringing me home when I ask.
All in all I'd say go with them. They WILL keep you loaded! When the wheels go round the money comes in. -
