Any CDL companies in Chicago that will pay for my training?

There are programs through the Illinois employment service that will pay your tuition. Also, look into Olive-Harvey college cdl training program. You may qualify for grants to attend there.

 

Some carriers have their own training schools. They won't be in Chicago though. But they usually will pay for your travel and room and board while in training.

One person mentioned about strength. Don't worry about it. You'll be fine. Yeah, doors can be a pain. Landing gear gets difficult in the winter. But if anything is too much for you, there is usually a fella around that would be glad to help a lady.

Henderson out of Caseyville IL is a great company. I just finished their training program and went solo this week. Have zero complaints thus far.

Earl Henderson Trucking Company and their school is in IL.
They pay for private hotel room and 3 meals a day during training.
You will need original birth certificate and original social security card.

Roehl in Gary. You will get paid while in cdl school. School is 4 weeks after that 2 weeks with trainer Otr. After that 45 days with a trainer/dispatcher to work out the kinks. I did it in January. Now 4 months solo. Gross over 1000 per week.
