so I'm reaching the end on my TnT and my trainer has offered for me to stay on his truck and team with him. He and I get along great. I just wonder what would work better from a financial perspective.

I made more $ teaming, but was miserable. Hard to sleep when the truck is bouncing around.

Work and load wise what do you think is harder? I keep getting told how much harder solo is. Now I'm not lazy by any means. I average about 680 miles a day on long runs.

It really depends on what kind of freight you'll be hauling. But in my experience, work wise teaming is easier because there are 2 of you, so if you find yourself in a blind-side situation or having to back across traffic, then you have someone to help out. Also, you'll only be doing 1/2 of the couple/uncouple, cleaning, tailgating freight, etc. that you'd be doing as a solo. Load wise, teaming was harder. The windows are much tighter and often the only way to hit them is to run run run. As a solo driver, when I get a load going somewhere I like, I can trip plan in a way that affords me some "me time" such that I can get a good meal, go see a show, see family, etc. There was none of that when I was teaming. Personally, going solo was the best decision I've ever made, but suum cuique.

Thanks for the advice. And Kimbosa, there is that thought in the back of my mind about that from time to time.

My favorite quote out of this forum.
"I wake up and hear my co driver praying. I started praying too just in case and in a second we jacknifed".
Don't remember who posted it though.
While teaming: no farting, no loud music whenever u want, no food anytime u want, waking up at random times, getting fat and stressed, because of random sleep and food. I can go on and on and on
