I have a 2009 prostar. My sleeper a/c works fine and is really cold. Today my cab a/c completely stopped for most of the day at one point it came on only when it was on norm and only blow on low even when i had it on high. I also just had a new compressor and everything that comes with changing a compressor . Can some one please give some insight....

Guess the next question would be is everything still blowing on high back in the sleeper and cold?
If the front A/C is working on the "Normal" setting, is it still blowing cold?
If so, the problem could be the squirrel cage (Fan) up front, switch or both. -
Sounds like the heat valve is not working for the front cab part. Go shut off the water valves under the hood and see if that solves the problem.

From what I have read the fact that it blows at low speed regardless of what setting it's on would lead me to believe it's the resistor. That is, of course, if it's set up anything like the older trucks (mines an 05 9200). Or a relay. Not sure when they started using the multitude of sensors that everyone is having issues with.

Yes the sleeper fan is still cold and on high.also now the front a/c isnt doing anything at all now but when it was blowing on norm yes it was cold...

My 07 9400 cab fan decided to just shut off yesterday when I got in, started the truck and cranked the A/C and high fan on right away. My bunk air is fine, cold and blowing as it should. What did I read above about a resister? The fuse was fine Not popped, but I changed it this morning anyway, no change.

If you can get to the fan disconnect the wires to it. Turn the fan on high then see if there is any voltage coming out of the wires. If there is then the fan is no good. If the fan is no good come back and tell me. Some come with just the motor and not the fan blade and it's a tricky thing to take off the old one and put on the new fan without bending the squirrel cage. If you bend it you'll have non stop noise.

Remove your passenger seat and the cover over the fan and condenser. You'll see the fan easy enough. It's probably your problem. The resistor is mounted to the front side of the box. It was less than $20 for me. I would replace it first. The fan motor was quite a bit more. Thinking $130 or so. Just don't break the cage getting it off the motor. And give it a good cleaning while you're at it.
Resistor looks similar to this http://www.truckacwarehouse.com/pro...or/BR-O31921/Blower-Motor-Resistor--Universal
