The problem is, the warehouse only needs say 50 guys to run forks excc.. but at random times they may need as many as 120 guys becuse of the need to unload, and separate all the good so the forksxcan move it. But they dont nees them all the time. So if they hired 120 guys, what would the 70 bon forks do when there is no truck to work? Get paid for nothing. Enter lumpers.

Yeah folks, the product is not delivered until it's on the customers dock. How can you consider it "delivered" if its on your trailer ?

Because this is part of how the public gets their $1 Gourmet frozen dinners...
"What a bargain! How do they sell these things so cheap?!"

All of this makes some of us really think twice before setting foot into a grocery store.

Time to start growing our own vegetables and raising our own chickens.

One of the many reasons I moved over to flatbed. Haven't seen a lumper in over a year and a half! Plus, I never unload my own freight. Be kinda hard for me to shift a 37,000lb. coil all by my lonesome, yeah?

So, I was kidding, right ? That's the problem with email's and written stuff like this .... people can't read people and judge by the face if they're joking or not ...... so I'm joking .... I LOVED the post about veggies and chicken breasts ! I also love beef. AND I'd love it if you could park a few Angus beside the chickens ! LOL ! I would if I could ..... here our local by-laws don't even allow chickens !!
