see, that kind of stuff happens at my terminal too, and I can't understand it. You're a driver, your license is kinda important, how do you not know it's suspended or lost (happened at ours) or whatever?

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

I saw a couple MBMers today out in Beachwood and Richmond Heights, Ohio. One was doing Arbys and another was getting on I-271 North. Both day cabs, real nice and clean.
Yeah you guys drive some big trucks in some area's that I wouldn't much care to take a big truck you're size into ha-ha!
Our 28' at GFS are big enough for me, but it's kind of a different world too, because of some of the places we go (different clientele base in broadline.)

Okay, here's some of the specs on Columbus MBM. We do several different concepts: Chick fil a, Golden Corral, Denny's, Arby's, Del Taco, California Pizza Kitchen. We drive day cabs and sleepers, mostly lease tractors, some times rentals. 48' trailers. We use People Net. The pay is pieces and miles and stops are roll ins and ramps. Most routes are 2 day routes. There are a few 1 day routes. And yes, we run shuttles out if Indy and Archbold Ohio. You do earn your paycheck. You work your ### off! But the paychecks are nice. The benefits are good, especially after the McLane buyout. And the 401K is the best I've ever seen! Not all centers have the same concepts. The Darden center which is in Lockbourne Ohio runs Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Longhorn and Bahama Breeze. It's a much smaller center. MBM offers sick time, vacation time and other paid time off. They DO NOT hire straight out of school. You have to have one year experience with a clean record. They do have an apprentice program that they just started but I don't know the details. I know it's strict though. MBM has it's ups and downs but what place doesn't? The benefits alone are worth working there!
