I have heard that you can buy something like incendental insurance instead of having workmans comp. Does any body know any thing about this and if it is true where I can get some info on it. My workmans comp seems pricey to me and I don't understand why. When I talk to others theirs seems much less. It averages about $135.00 a week is that normal. I have never been on it before in my life. Thanks.

I think Eskimo6804 advocates this insurance. Perhaps he can shed some more light on it. Pm him and maybe he will tell you what you want to know.

I do think it depends on the state where you are based wether workers comp is required or not though.
