    Right.

I just hate this victim mentality that seems to be so pervasive in our industry.

I would like to know what happened because I think ew is a good guy just from reading his thread and hope everything is ok.

But since its nomb unless he chooses to come back and explain here's to wishing him the best...

Im still around folks Im just a idiot forgot my password got locked out of my account and said to hell with fixing ill try again later.

Now on the topic of success and failure most of you vets no its a simple as picking the wrong loads that can have you back on the bus.
Over the past few months I've tried to work with an ic who doesnt seem to grasp the concept of booking in pairs to balance out rates. He hasn't seen a check of more that 600 dollars in 6 months and i explained to him he needs to aim increase his RPM.

The guy drives 70+ everywhere and hauls pretty much whatever shows up first on the board . It is costing him close to 1.10 to run his trick but his profit is in the 1.30's needless to say he is trying to turn his truck back in he is convinced the program is a scam. Oh he has 2 years left on his lease also he got a 3 year Freightliner.

So all the incoming IC's really listen to what these vets are telling you this is truly a numbers game.

I've said it before if i didnt have money saved up i might not have made it through my first three months i didn't listen well at all.
My gross and net for my first couple of months
    Aug 1.25 pm .81 exp .44 profit
    Sep 1.34 pm 1.15 exp .19 profit
    Nov 1.83pm 1.24 exp .59 profit
    Dec 1.41pm 1.06 exp .35 Profit

Toward the end of December i got my act together and started working with a ic of many years and he saved me from failure thus far this year im averaging 1.54 pm with .59 profit that number is jacked by a disastrous may. I made 1.09 on all miles with .25 profit and i cant even explain how it happened i was appalled at the end of the month. All bills where paid ahead so i didnt notice the redudced cash flow much.

Most of the months I've stayed around 1.70pm with about .75 profit.

I didn't quit guys i will be back regularly.

Another thing someone inboxed about my truck. The 680 is great although it can be temperamental i have a MIL on right now the truck wont don't a regen while sitting still. I have to get the fixed but I'm attempting to wait until i relocate to do that put it in the shop and take a few days of while moving .

Oh yeah another thing I know I've mentioned it before but fuel cards. I signed up with nastc its absolutely great on those weeks when SNI isnt really giving a discount. Its especially great where i Live up to .75 of a gallon in Maryland on 95 but the price is also in the $3 range so it just makes it comparable to virgina and pa but im still getting a lower overall price compared to SNI.
The discount varies from day to day but on most days its cheaper than the pilot discount.

I'm on NASTC as well. Would highly recommend all IC's get their fuel card. The savings can be huge. Especially in the NE. Right now NASTC discount in NY and NJ is averaging .60 off per gallon. Beats the heck out of Schneider's.
