Is anyone happy with a lease-purchase?

I know a few guys who are happy with their Schneider lease deal.

 

The unhappy are also the incapable and the incompetent.

The capable and the competent know business.They put together a solid business plan with a solid analysis model. They can do a comparative analysis of any lease program. They can quickly determine which are viable and which are losers.

Once they are in a lease they know how to measure their business and manage it. How to maximize revenue and minimize cost.

The unhappy, the incapable and incompetent? They go to internet forums and ask questions like - "Who has the best lease?" - "Which lease has the best trucks?" - "Who leases trucks with APUs?" - "Is anybody successful in a lease?" - "Is anybody happy in a lease?"

 

Quite a few Schneider Choice drivers on TTR, the thing is you'll have to go to the Schneider forum to chat with most of them. The Anti-L/P crusaders tend to sour L/P posters with the constant inane sniping and ranting. Kinda like being married to a nag IMO. You can check the ATS as well. Most of them seem pleased with life.

I'm a former L/P participant. Turned in my truck at just under 16 months after purchasing a truck. Pretty sure I was happy. I dont do drugs and rarely drink and I'm not aware of having killed anyone so yeah... I musta been happy with how life was going.

 

We're happy because we're paid on percentage and pick our own freight from thousands of loads off a load board.
Where as most other carriers that off a lease deal pay their drivers at some cheap mileage rate while you're still forced having a dispatcher run your life.

 

None of the drivers Ive spoken with are on TTR. They dont even talk about their lease, youll seldom find a driver out there talking about how good their lease purchase deal is, reason why is because as another stated, there are too many people on here that will condemn a lease purchase guy. Youll find far more people complain about a lease purchase then youll find about people saying how good their lease is. I suggest you go on facebook and search out a couple of well known groups for truckers. I cant post the name of one of the best ones because itll get deleted, or ill get a suspension. If your curious, pm me and ill tell you the name of the group.
