The ThermoKing dealer in DePere is who installs the Tripaks on the Freightliners. Transport Refrigeration is their name.

Unless things have changed the inverter the TriPacs come with is an 1800W model made by Xantrex and rebranded to whatever ThermoKing calls it.

The 1800W version of the model here:

    http://www.xantrex.com/power-products/power-inverters/pro-series-inverters.aspx

It's a good inverter. Not sine-wave, but still a good inverter. My T600 had that same inverter installed when the APU was put on, it works good. If they put it in a cabinet, you can use a RJ11 extension cable (like for a phone) to move the control panel to a more accessible place to turn it off/on. I still need to do that with mine, I hate running cords and having to open and close the cabinet all the time.

atruckr, 91B20H8, sadwar and 1 other person Thank this.

Those power inverters they sell at Pilot now have blue tooth where you can control it with your smart phone.

Well, got bit by the 'Customer Service Screwed Up Again' bug today...

Show up at the shipper to pick up my load that is taking me to the house, only to be told by the shipper that the load isn't ready, that the shipper told Schneider about the delay yesterday, and the shipper has no idea when the load will be ready...

So I had Schneider take the load off of me, there was absolutely no other loads to pick up today or tomorrow, so I bobtailed the 224 miles home...

Not the best decision business wise or financially, but sometimes you just got to do what you got to do...

And I did manage to make $1700+ this week... It's cool....

    Roll on...

    That happens way too often.

I'd have bt'd home too, better than sitting 2 days at a truck stop or something.
