Te entire time they're driving you have to be on duty not driving. It's the law. I didn't write the law. I don't need to be a trainer to understand I need to be on duty while the student is driving.

I only have to log on-duty if I am TRAINING him. I'm not training him his whole shift! I don't have to log anything, if I'm sitting in the passenger and watching the scenery.

And anytime you are in passenger seat, with the exception of a 2 hr period, doesn't it have to be on duty, not driving? And that effects your 70? I get confused with hos, so it's an honest question.

If the student is driving you are training don't matter if your watching the trees or pissing in a bottle. It's on duty not driving.

Because there are 3 people on the truck, I can dictate however or whoever I want to get a 34 hours restart, be it me, or my students. Therefore there is no issue with running out of hours.

Slick as black ice! No one is watching how you log anything. As long as the elogs match up with your paper logs, your good to go. Don't shoot yourself in the foot guys!

this is why you trained with CRE. You do not understand the law. Your the reason #### comes out of these schools. YOU the TRAINER can NEVER be off duty while student a or student b is driving.
