You need to ask a recruiter. Wife is yes and free. Some pets yes with a deposit. I can't recall ever seeing any small children at a terminal or at a customer but a recruiter will know.

 

pets are dogs or cats under 60 pounds with a 750 deposit and you lose half a cent per mile. the deposit is taken out of your check weekly 25 bucks at a time but fully refundable

 

yes, cretes rider policy is free. you can take one adult and a child under 5 as long as the other parent is there. children 5 and up to 19 can ride solo. there is a form to sign and that's it.

 

Hi, I am interested also, you say "5-19 can ride solo", But what if we want an 8 year old to ride WITH us? Is that ok as well? & Is this a decent company? Thanks!

 

One trucker told us he drops his wife and child off at local shopping malls if shipper won't allow in yard. We want to find a company that will allow us all to go as we wish as well.

 

I don't see why not.

 

That is the customer he was talking about, not the trucking company. The customer has the right to say that they don't want minor children or pets on their property. This is a job.

 

oh I agree! If they do not want them there that's fine, we will just stay somewhere until he is finished. lol & I go with him now every 5 weeks, but we want to include our youngest.& our current company will not allow it. I do not even get out at a company, but no one I have ever been to has said a word about it. I have my PPE gear in case it is required to get out though. I just want to be able to let my youngest have the experience now & then. I love this business, & We plan on working hard to make it into something we can do as a team one day. For now I am just the supportive role/secretary lol & Thanks for the reply!!
