1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I have a few trucks, volvo's and freightliners.. We pull Van's, Dry Goods,We Run West and South and Northeast.. Whatever the driver is comfortable with. Drivers averaging now 3,100-3,300 miles week home on wknd, and anytime they drive by they are welcome to stop by the house.
Listen MJ1657 I don't know you, nor you don't know me. Keep your opinions to yourself. If being broke is $1,300+/wk than that's fine. you don't have to work for me. Nor am I asking you to. People are free to choose what they want to do.

Actually .42c+ is starting.. So that is much higher than many other companies regardless of experience.. We have drivers who are at .50c/mile

Isn't this site based upon giving opinions?

Yes people are free to choose what they want to do. Just like we are free to warn those that may not know any better that 1099 jobs are almost always a bad deal. Now if the rate of pay was way above average like somewhere in the high .50 to low .60 range with the miles you are advertising it may be an alright deal. Though normally illegal but that's an argument for a different day.

$1,300 a week sounds ok until its time to pay the tax man.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Let's knock it off with the bickering, please. Anyone who wishes to discuss the job with him can give him a call.

Fair enough. Its a 1099 company and they advertised before they had a truck ready.

    Fellow truckers use caution.
