Cottonmouth : I went in to Volvo dealer with the same complaint about the noise. They say ISX make that noise is normal if it goes away when you hit your high idle.
I got 780 Volvo with ISX easy pedal 10 speed trans. Also new clutch.

No the 2250 clutch gives you a very stiff pedal do to the stiff springs to handle the torque, im not sure about the lighter clutches but im sure they are alot easier on the left leg.

I have about 25k miles on mine and i love it, i dont see the need to adjust it right now either and trust me i am pushing a lot more than 2250lb-ft of torque though that clutch. Once you break in the wear points on the disks its good for 2800-2900lb-ft.
