Anyone work for K&B? The are advertising a minimum weekly pay that seems good, I just have not heard anything about them other than seeing them get bashed hard on a 20/20 special.

I agree with flatbedder. I've never heard anything but bad about them.

thanks a lot yall, was checking for my wife; she cannot work for my company because she had some trouble with the law years ago. She was telling me about their great pay and all that so I figured I ask about it.

If Patty is still around, she used to drive for them.

The "Guaranteed Pay" is set up in such a way that you pretty much have to make yourself available 24/7 to get it. From how it sounds...live in the truck and never go home...and it's yours.

I talked with a driver n he said they micro manager and always call them to push then to work, I thought that usually trucker talk n was like w.e he's probably lazy until his phone rang n it was dispatch wondering why he was on break for 32 min not 30. Lol that seal the deal I will never work for them

I've been with them 10 months. Except for Wal-Mart, I am not finding a better deal for reefers. I will make $65,000 this year and i don't work very hard. I am out for 11 day and off for 3 on a regular schedule. They have salary and cpm positions. I'm getting over $25/hr for all my driving and on duty time. Not bad.

The guarantee is for 7 day availability. However, most drivers exceed the minimum most of the time. There are also local and salary positions (I'm salary). I don't know much about the local but the salary is $1200 for 5 1/2 days. You get more than that if you choose to stay out.

They aren't perfect but from all my research, they are one of the best. Maybe they didn't used to be but they are now. The trucks are good too: late model Cascadias with apu and fridg/freezer. instant maintenance for any issue. I'm satisfied.
