Just created my TTR account today and I think it's time for me to introduce myself.

I am looking to go to a trucking school around my area (Springfield/Hartford) so I can begin driving tractor-trailers. As to this date, I hold a Class B CDL with the Passengers endorsement; I'm currently employed to drive buses for two public transit systems, UMass Transit and Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority (my summer job). I want to drive tractor-trailers instead of buses because truckers get better pay and don't have to deal with as much people as bus drivers do (and especially NO crying babies, the one thing I can not stand at all). I plan of beginning school at the beginning of the 2016.

By joining this forum, I'll be able to gather as much information as possible to make me not only a efficient driver of the roads but also a great member of the trucking community.

    bullhaulerswife Thanks this.

Yeah...we don't have to deal with crying babies...

Whiny adults on the other hand...

Most days I'm pretty sure a whiny adult is worse!

    Welcome to ttr!

Heck, I'd rather deal with a whiny adult than I would with a whiny child. It's more funnier that way

    Vilhiem Thanks this.
