I worked for Dave Wilcox a couple of times, I had an accident with one of his trucks. I'm also aware of Avon Mountain, Wilcox trucks shouldn't be on Avon Mountain.
-
Why? what is the reason trucks can't be on avon mount.

-
I assume the jury wants the victims to get paid, even at the moment they were uninsured
Legal is legal -
Wilcox trucks don't have brakes good enough to be on Avon Mountain. I've known for years someone would get killed by one of his overweight under braked coal trucks hauling gravel. He put so much sand on a 32 yard triaxle that the hoist wouldn't lift the body. He would run two or more trucks on one registration. When I started with him I was driving an R230 Intertrashanal that wouldn't hold air 30 seconds after the engine shut down, no electrical, no batteries, just shove it with a loader in the morning and don't stall it.

Another example of a company who thinks they can send their trucks down the road with duct tape. If you cant afford to repair the trucks to run safely then they shouldn't be on the road.

Boy do I remember that one. I was in TT school, when it happened.. As I understand it he also have a few other co in the past that were shut down for similar reasons..
