Tama, I got lucky and snagged a '11 KW T700 with 500k on it last week in Indy. Doesn't happen often though so you got to keep an eye one the lot, and hope you see something come in on a recovery.

Thank you for the info on the decals... I am still waiting for a few things to come back to recruiting.. Wa state license info, and previous work experience. There shouldn't be any hold up as my history is solid as is my driving record. Hmmmm

Fr8monkey, or Rayon, could you tell me if we get any discounts on fuel at any of the big 3?

Do you guys use any apps or software for fuel routing or do you just take what eagle suggests?

I got my first load. 2600 for 2100 miles 1.5 miles from my house so i could get my gear and head otr.

-25% leaves 1950, minus estimated fuel costs of 843 I will have a gross profit of 1107. Will have to wait and see what expenses will actually hit my first settlement.

    Will let everyone know

PS. Do a very thorough pretrip on your trailer. The one I got I didn't check the rightrear trailer tires. They were the only ones I didn't check because i got interrupted by a phone call. It turns out the brakes on that side of the axle were seized up for some significant time. Both tires were completely flat but somehow not off the bead. Only got 1 mile before i noticed it. So one unsieze and 2 new tires later i was on my way. My fault for the long roadside wait because of an incomplete pretrip.
on a good note. The callback feature of Quality's breakdown dept was great and they were professional efficient.

Tons of Intl prostars with Maxxipad engines. But I assure you, there is no such thing as a "gently used" used truck there. Lots of miles, lots of wear and tear, lots of Ruston frames and engines.

but occasionally there is a diamond in the rough.

Am I missing something? Is that $.92 per mile to the truck? ... Curious as to your rational for taking that?

Hi guys.... Still here. I'd say "against my better judgement" but I think I've run out of that along with luck and my Costco almonds.

    The last four weeks I've cleared $400, $0, $480, $580.

I've screwed myself and have been screwed by Celadon selling the trailer out from under me, whereupon it took two days for them to find me another Celadon box as I'm still waiting for a reefer trailer.

I've been relying on my ops team in Fontana to route me, although thru using Truckers Edge I've worked us thru rough spots.

I've asked to be sent towards home for a VA appointment. Then I asked to go toward the south because all of my grandkids we're going to be in the same place. Realizing that I need to get in to, and stay in, the lanes, I've resolved to focusing on doing that. Yet, I have to head back towards home base to pick up prescriptions. My ops guys have worked with me. I'm broke, but it's not all of their fault yet.

I've been so ready to quit that I've quit wanting to quit and decided that's enough quitting until I've actually seen whether this will work. My ops guys are new and they deserve as much as I do the chance to succeed. They'll still keep getting that chance whether I'm here or not. I'm not ready to jump ship as it may be slowly sinking, but it ain't burnin'.

Quality has twenty other companies they lease for, such as Foreward Air, Mercer, USA Truck, Atlas moving, and more. If you have over a year of OTR, those companies may be a better fit for ye who are looking to L/O.

Eagle is a turkey trying to become an eagle. There are scuffed knees and elbows trying to get off the ground, and stay there. Their orientation is less a Charlie Foxtrot than it was when I went through (saw them herding turkeys this week whilst visiting Safety). They may NEVER get their hazmat out of the fan. I'm going to find out.

    JTT and fr8monkey Thank this.
