Where is 6 speed when you need him?

 

Totes can be a giant PITA! Not only to you have to check all the caps and tops to make sure the mouth breathers loading the totes didn't spill product on the top of them, if the product gets warm and builds pressure, and if it vents through the cap it can fumigate your trailer......badly and it can be very difficult to get the smell out. You also have to have plenty of straps on hand. Anythime there is a single tote in a row, it must be strapped over the top and the end tote/s must have 2 straps on the end.
Secrment rules are strict and DOT loves to check

 

I say don't haul totes or Hazmat until the pay is worth it and it's not.

 

If your an ic why do they care if you have a tanker endorsement ?

It's your choice if you want to haul those loads ......
