    I have been making good money here and am treated well by my office. No complaints so far. Knight is good as a starter company or for an experienced driver in my opinion.

    I personally think alot of our "good" experience mes and my self have had is largely inpart to the terminals we are out of. I have noticed that alot here. Get a good terminal you get a good experiance get a bad one, and it makes it life a living hell.

    I noticed a tire was flat this morning on the trailer. The trainee does the pre trips and as he was getting back in to go I asked
    Is everything good?
    Yes
    Come here and let me show you something
    *thumps tire with hammer to demonstrate it is flat*
    This tire is flat. I saw you check it yet you told me it was all good. Grab the air hose and let's air it up.
    I'm not doing that.

    I could have slapped that boy in the mouth. This is the third time he has given me attitude about this stuff. If he does it one more time I am dropping him off to get on a bus home. I told him that too. Buck up and do the job or I'll make sure you don't get the job. Plain and simple. Needless to say he is po'd at me.
    In total there were 5 low tires including the flat one.

    Equipment failures that are GO/NOGO don't have an optional component.

    Or did I miss a meeting? :)

    I have this guy until the 17th and I am so ready for time off at this point. It is frustrating to see him still struggling with basics after the work we have been doing. I am working hard to get him ready but I am thinking he will need another cycle of training. I don't feel comfortable putting him on the road solo. I can't wait wait for a few days off. This has worn me out this time.

    Have you brought this up to your safety guy or to HR ? This is something they like to be updated on and if he is getting to the point of arrogance, its time to turn him over to safety and let them have a chat with him. I would never deal with what you have mes, We are here to teach and help the trainee have a successful career, I'm not here to raise another kid that thinks he is entitled. From what it sounds like your fighting this guy every step of the way and that's not how it should be. He is here to do a job he needs to shut up and do it and do it right before he does get someone SERIOUSLY hurt.

    Sorry if I sound rude, It's not my intention I just don't have patience for people that want a job and don't want to work or don't want to do it right. This sounds like your trainee bro.

    We are going to Vermont today. If I can scan this in on time I wil get 3500 miles on this check. Lately it has been like that. I am already close to the 30k mark and still have the month of August to work on it.
