Both bought new by the same farmer? That would be a pair to beat a full house. It funny you post a 2520. My best buddy from school married a girl from eastern Ohio and took over their little dairy farm, they have a 2520 that her dad bought brand new in 73. It's a leftover 72, his father in law said he went in to buy a new 4030 and the dealer talked him into buying the 2520. He has at least half a dozen guys after that tractor, and the mix feed with it everyday. When I was a kid we had a 2510 which was pretty much the same tractor, it had a loader on it. We didn't have a skid loader so that tractor scraped the free stalls, loaded manure. put out round bales, all that general chore stuff. All a lot of fun with a row crop tractor.

Lyle (that's who's farm I'm at) bought the wide front. It was the first new tractor he ever bought. His dad bought the narrow front. Traded a JD 70 diesel and mounted picker on it. They farmed separate but the farms adjoined each other.

Had this pop out when I was going to unload a 544. I found a curb, built a ramp and side unloaded the 544, then once the weight was off, I was able to manoeuvre the trailer up and down to get the pins lined back up so it would go back in place.

Learning new stuff all the time.

Me and the family was just there this afternoon enjoying a couple cold beverages and the lake. Friends parents live there on the lake.

There is a threshing show by Moon Lake the weekend of the 14-16 of August. I'll be there Sunday the 16th. Stop by and say hi.

That's one advantage a Trailking has over a Talbert, if the pin comes out it will still lift the trailer. On a Talbert it shoots the cylinder through the thin metal inside the neck or ends up in some other bound up position.
