Yeah I'd like to see that too. Nothing like comparing dry vans doin drop n hook contract freight to pure o/o doin primarily flats to get an idea what a lane will pay.
What would be more enlightening is double yellow and freight whipper both signing on to eagle for 6 months. About the same amount of time in the industry. My bet is dy clears 50k in 6 months, fw ends in the hole.

Well here's some loads I recently did not including deadhead miles to give a general idea
This is pay to the truck... and what loaded miles say on the system
Indianapolis, IN to Kirkwood, MO 256 miles $709
Edwardsville, IL to Vandalia, OH 334 miles $649
Columbus, OH to Fort Wayne, IN 155 miles $367
Fort Wayne, IN to Columbus, OH 155 miles $513
Columbus OH, to North Vernon, IN 175 miles $378
Appliance park, KY to North Vernon, IN 70 miles $445
then had my f it I'm going home moment...
Hebron, KY to Charleston, TN 310 miles $532
then screw it going back to work booking a same day load which usually sucks...
Dandridge, TN to North Kansas city, MO 755 miles $1077
Lenexa, KS to Fulton, MO 167 miles $540 (got screw with no empties, lost a load and had to pick from same day leftover freight next due to it)
Edwardsville, IL to Valliant, OK 558 miles $1038
Valliant, OK to Jackson, MS 372 miles $566
Indianola, MS to Fulton, MO 480 miles $837 (that's just doing an empty trailer move) and the load I'm on currently. Next is...
Edwardsville, IL to Saint Charles, MO 34 miles $274
Hartford, IL to Davenport, IA 215 miles $611
All easy driving, no Northeast and lots of drop and hook.
Rates took a dump once in OK and MS but that's expected.
I have no interest in going to Eagle lol in response to poster above
Got no issue here making money.
Running circles in the Midwest or Northeast I'm always above $1.70 all miles
Had weeks over $2 also.
If I leave the good areas or randomly decide to go home then all bets are off but still don't do that bad.Last edited: Aug 1, 2015

Me and my wife drive for eagle we book our own loads and have made great money been with eagle since March we've got a 2016 lone star and a new 2015 Wabash dry van

But you must learn the good lanes what your fixed cost are how much a mile you need to profit truck will go 75 but we keep it at 60 maybe 65 as at that speed I get best fuel economy as of today I average 6.7-7.0 mpg fully loaded. Any questions you got about eagle don't hesitate to ask.

Wondering what good money is...
What have you grossed so far and on how many times? -
Our worst check was 300 after fixed cost and fuel as we took 4 days home time best check was 6,230 after fixed cost and fuel had one week with no check after fixed cost and fuel but took truck to dealer as another company driver backed into our truck and destroyed our bumper but we've never taken less than 1200 after fixed cost last week we took home 2120 after fixed cost and were setup this week for 3140 this week maybe more as as we may get another load and delivered before pay period cutoff at 11 pm Tuesday. But we do the footwork with brokers and put ourselfs out there I e mail all approved brokers to let them know were we will be and see who has the good paying loads.Last edited by a moderator: Aug 3, 2015

@Lonestardriver15 Earlier, you said
That means the numbers you talk about in post #2167 are all team pay, correct? If so, that's not good numbers for a team. -
Yes that's for a team we don't run hard and sit most weekends to relax were we are at but teams pay a double truck payment were solo drivers do not so we own the truck and trailer in five years were a solo driver has a big balloon payment. We sat for the weekend at the casino in sparks Nevada and leaving out tomorrowLast edited by a moderator: Aug 3, 2015

Ok, thanks. Making a double truck payment and bringing home those numbers is not too bad then.
