I am a driver with Bridger in Artesia, NM.... Here is the scoop. If you come on with Bridger you will not be babied. This truck is your company not theirs. So you have to think of this as your business. If you come out here with the mentality of being a company driver then you WILL NOT MAKE IT! Bridger is going through growing pains like any LARGE company. So make sure you save up some money so you don't have to take the advancement from them and work hard and you should make it. I have made 9k take home last 2 pay periods.

Champlive Thanks this. -
I'm in west Texas and they seem to lose contracts as fast as they can. They are referred to as over paid water haulers out here. Your biggest problem is unloading, they seem to get run out of stations fairly quickly around here. I know of two stations where they lasted about a month before being kicked out for continuously bringing in bad oil.

So you mean a little money to get you
So I see many Drivers say it's ok if you work hard ,others say it's a F'up company at various unloading facilities so I'm left with the fact that it's a good company if you bust your ### you will be alrightMaddhatta Thanks this. -
Try $7000 with insurance and everything else.

All true statements. They are a bunch self serving asswipes.

I'm sure any job can be, the main complaint from Bridger guys I know is lack of places to unload. 18,000 a month is not that great once you deduct 6,800.00 truck payment, fuel, wear and tear, 10% maintenance and 15-20% taxes.
Thats not that good for this work
18,000.00 a month
-6,800.00 truck
-2,700.00 taxes
-1,000.00 maintenance
-2,000.00 fuel
= 1,375.00 a weekOxbow and Original Bender Thank this. -
You speak the truth. Don't be fooled by their claims. You also NEVER own the truck or have an option to own it. They re-lease what is turned in. It's a huge money pit for them and their investors with the driver/owner getting very little in the deal. Most drivers working for O/O make $80 a load on average. Get one load, you can make more flipping burgers.

Won't make this now...lol

Everything is true except the money made last year you wont come close. Bridger has restructured the mileage pay to their advantage. Some guys are griping about Bridger so please show me a better company with the same amount of loads/pay available.
