CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE THIS ELUSIVE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR IS?
THERE ARE TWO SENSORS THAT LOOK JUST LIKE EACH OTHER IN THE PICTURES ABOVE. -
Hi we are trying to find the oil pressure sensor also. I have found what is the engine that's in the truck now and not what came with it when it was sent out from manufacture. On the truck door it has 1999 VED D12, but looking at a picture of it online the oil pan is different and looks just like the VHD D12D (Volvo V-Pulse). It sat for about a week and now it won't start. Called the dealership to ask a tech for help locating the oil pressure sensor and he said it was behind the alternator. But I took the alternator off and the oil pressure sensor is located there. Could some please help me locate the oil pressure sensor and possible post a picture or diagram of exactly where it is and if there are any other things I need to test and check. I appreciate all your help.
I saw on the previous page a photo of a motor I am assuming that is the sensors, could you tell me which are which sense they are not labeled.
Thanks again.
