They got a new salary payscale of 110 bucks a day wheels turnin or not. Not sure how i feel about that... Upside they had some pretty nice equipment and a dropyard where i live making hometime nice. Ill be OTR for a while but it looks like they got some new regional and dedicated oppurtunities opening up so thats a delight. Also ALOT of meat loads, thats a neutral but freight is freight. never had a problem getting paid with them and there hometime is average compared to the industry (3 weeks out 3 days home). Reason I left before is I had a death in the family and needed to have a while and do some local work to collect myself but i am ready now. I just tried knight because they "guaranteed" me a dedicated account.... and said i didnt qualify even after orientation yada yada yada bullcrap so whatever. Went back to what I know and am comfortable with
MidwestResident and Snowshoes Thank this. -
I heard swift is slowly buying them out though... Can anyone confirm this?
MidwestResident Thanks this. -
Really? I was offered a job with Navajo but wasn't interested after finding out you spend 7 weeks with a trainer. That and the training is done all the way in Colorado. I live in the NWMidwestResident Thanks this.

This is true. Depending on your experience they'll put you with a trainer for said amount of time. Their is 3 phases, at least since i was last there. Phase 1 is 7-8 weeks. 2 is 3-5 weeks- phase 3 is 1-3 weeks if im not mistaken. i was phase 2 coming on the first time and was out almost 4 weeks. I liked my trainer he was pretty good.
I dont know about terminal suggestions though. Im out of amarillo texas so denver is not so far, but you being in the northwest you would think they would put you in there boise idaho terminal for orientation/training. I dont know there policy on that area though.T_Bone, MidwestResident and Lightside Thank this. -
Good luck keep us posted.
