What do you want to do? Drive otr and be out 2-4 weeks a month, or are you looking for somthing that gets you home a few times a week, or are you looking for local?
BigTrill Thanks this. -
I'd prefer something dedicated or a Texas regional route. My last driving job was the choice program with Schneider. Basically picked loads running back and forth from Dallas to Houston/San Antonio/Louisiana. I really don't want the O/O headache although I was successful with Schneider. Not a bad thing to say about their choice program. I just want to drive and not worry about fuel/maintenance and making money over fixed expenses. Looking to be home on weekends with family., Being gone months at a time almost destroyed my family. Problem is I liked the road too much. If I was single and no kids OTR wouldn't be a problem. But something dedicated or regional out of Texas is gonna be my best bet to keep the peace.

Coastal Transport would probably be ideal for you.
JBS Carriers has a Texas regional route; runs 3 states only. It's on the website.
Triple Crown might have something like you want. Check their website.BigTrill Thanks this. -
You'd recommend Werner, CRST and CR England to someone and claim huge pay? Hmmm I think that Says it all. Lolfreightwipper and BigTrill Thank this.

Try Southeast Carriers out of Lawrenceburg, TN; they have a small terminal in Wills Point East of Dallas that operates M-F on a dedicated account.BigTrill Thanks this.

I'm taking all the advice on the companies y'all listed. Thanks! JBS sounds too good to be true but I'm filling out an app.

Does Schneider do intermodal out of Dallas? That could work.
BigTrill Thanks this. -
I'm gonna be running texas regional with system transport if you want to pull flatbeds. They do tx, ok, nm, ar, and la mostly. I'm not sure if they take guys in your position though. Oh, and chinatown, if you read this, thanks buddy. You indirectly helped me find this company.
