Got Fired, have a few questions.

    Thank you guys for all the good info, I'm going back tomorrow to speak with the owner and to get my logs back before I get an attorney involved.

    It just happened today, There was only copies of the last 7 days (white sheets) The rest was all my yellow copies from December. I'm guessing there not going to pay me for the last 2 weeks either.

    Don't know what state you are in, but if they don't pay for your last two weeks, i'd be contacting the state labor board. Won't cost you anything to at least see what your options are.

    Will do, I'm going in tomorrow to try to get my logs, a copy of my disciplinary action, and a copy of my timecard, if they don't give that to me, I will be contacting an attorney, as I have video proof of the incident recorded from my iphone from the time I got back and when my logs were taken from me. (Im in PA btw)

    I'm not sure how other companies do it,.. but I turn in the white copy and keep the yellow for my own records for tax time to calculate per diem.

    If they already had the white top copy,.. they had no right to the yellows.

    Empty threats are worth nothing.
    NEXT time you be more alert about your surroundings and people around you. You should have known better. You are on a steady alert at all times! Specially when someone ESCORTS you to get your personal items.
    Next you say you refuse to leave and have them call the cops and explain to them its your LOG COPY and that the company already has theirs.

    Your choices now are
    1...Call and demand your copy or you will go get a lawyer and have him ask. IN which case you need money.
    2...forget about it and move on.
    3....go to unemployment office and file a claim saying you were wrongfully terminated and let them investigate. That's free of charge.
    4...if they report you to DAC...you can despite that. Google free DAC report on here and it tells you how.

    I would do go with option 1, then 3 then 4 and then 2 if that all don't work out.

    You should post the companies name on here and the peoples names involved. Its not against the law to vent and you would be protecting others from the same faith.

    I thought it was a requirement for them to be kept for 6 months.
