Never say never. I have been audited twice.

 

well then you have the lucky charm on your side. 27 years for me, and never an audit as well.

 

Actually..... my last audit was a result of me not putting my foot down. I told the good wife that she was cutting things too close with my side business and other things we had going. The CPA that she insisted that we use, ......was also a tad on the aggressive side. Sure enough........I got audited 3 years ago and I had to fork over $9300.00

Dumped the CPA.

Fired the wife................( went without supper for a week or so)

That puts you in the 2% that get audited.

 

I owe the IRS. I told them to go #### themselves.

 

Yeah right they can make your life a living hell.. Keep telling them to f$$k themselves, in a year or so they will be f$$cking you hard and long by way of bank account frozen, wage garnishments if you are a w-2 and finally liens on things you owned.. you don't mess with the goverent mob aka the Irs

 

If they want to go through all that trouble and spend three times as much as I actually owe them to come after me, I welcome it. It would make a great subject for a book on how ####ed up our government is.
