Hi everyone, I looking for some info on getting my own authority for Canada only, who do I contact to get set up with everything I need such as IFTA and DOT number, etc. Thanks

What you need will depend on what you want to do and what province in which you are domiciled. For example, if you are planning on hauling oversized loads you won't get a QC permit unless you register your business in QC. I would just call someone like Nova as I mentioned above.
BTW, for Canada only you don't need a DOT number. DOT is a US thing. -
Getting running in Canada (for a Canadian) is not that difficult. Even easier if you call a company that sets it up for you like I did. Basically, they got me a quote for insurance, setup my IFTA and plates, and everything else I needed. And I think they charged me 100 bucks for doing the legwork.
Setting up for US was more money but more hoops to jump through as well. -
Do you remember the name of the company you used skman? I called one company and they wanted $1000 to set everything up.
