Titus is still blasting ads here in Richmond for Titus doing Kroger stuff, supposed to pay very well. I think the DC is over near you. I'm trying to figure out how to get a truck under me I'd be all over that. They were claiming over 200k, not sure of the details though.

My advise to anyone thinking about doing any business with Titus is to Please do your research before committing. I use to be in the safety department of Titus Transportation - Nea Transportation-Titus Holdings - Air Ride Transportation. They are what FMCSR refer to as a chameleon company that run their drivers to fatigue. Do not offer continued training to the drivers and will not be forth coming with rates or any other information that is rightfully deserved. I can assure you that in my opinion as soon as FMCSA requires every carrier next year to have some sort of elog that Titus will be going out of business. Titus is not financially stable. The owner is a very wise and educated man, but the people that surround him have no respect for the company, the employees, the drivers or the owner. They have changed DOT numbers and names once again which would make several they have been through in the short time of 7 years
ABK74 Thanks this. -
My husband ran for Titus for 3 months, and they were constantly late with settlements as well as inaccurate with their pay. Every week he had to call and have them adjust the settlement, because they would fudge the miles so badly, and it was always like pulling teeth to get the money. They once claimed to have paid him for a load the week before he took it. I suppose they had a crystal ball in their offices that knew he would be making the run and decided to pay ahead of time for it. *rolls eyes*
They run ads promising the world, and then pull a bait and switch. 200k a year my butt, the highest settlement check never broke 1k. The last month with them was so bad that he got two negative settlements and then finally a check for $101.00 despite being out hauling for 28 days straight for them. I would caution anyone from dealing with Titus. -
Titus ain't ####.. They treat you like your an employee and not like a business.. They now charge O/O IFTA $150 a month which is bs when you never leave the state of VA and buy all your fuel in VA.. They pay .96cents per mile plus a bs fuel surcharge so you'll be lucky to get a $1.10 per mile.. Land star and coyote brokers pay $1400 a load to do a va beach run.. With Tius after fuel you get about $480 they are raping o/o you will run out of business leasing on to them.. They run your truck to the ground u get a big repair your done!! Stay away from these crooks!!!
