Yeah, hard to jack it in. Too much weight and it does not cut good. Plus never handles the same way twice. Same coil different spot and it is a whole new ball game. Empty is no problem, but loaded you can roll the tire off the rim...
We don't have dump valves.

Some trailers can lift the front spread axle.

Like the tag axles on a dump or cement truck? I can imagine that the side forces on the trailer tires must be severe in a tight turn (like parking).
