Go for it. It's a great career and also a great second career. Which state do you live in?
-
Hi I am in Southern California. San Gabriel Valley.
Whats the best way to get started? -
The best way is to attend a 160 hr. CDL school.
While there, acquire all the endorsements; tanker/hazmat/doubles/triples.
Get a TWIC ID Card; Google for nearest TWIC office. TWIC is used for entry to sea ports, military bases, chemical plants.
You will need original social security card and original birth certificate.
If you want an easier way, attend a trucking company CDL school and the best one right now is Earl Henderson Trucking.Puppage Thanks this. -
OK lots to do. Thank you.
-
If Con-way Truckload hires in your area, they have a pretty good program and pay for CDL school.
