I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Yeah I can't for the life of me figure out why guys risk it. One ticket and you're looking at over $1k in fines and the end of your driving career over a $50 headset

 

I'm on the phone all the time without a headset.








Granted I use the built in bluetooth.

 

TA just across the river in Earle, Arkansas.

Running out to ft smith for in the morning for an LTL relay. The new planner girl isn't quite getting it yet. Drop is supposed to be 0500-0700. Even with the hours I had when she planned me it wasn't getting there till 0800.

After Memphis at 1700 that's pushed back to around 0900. She couldn't understand it looked good on the computer. Ugh lol.

All she can do now is just call the LTL guy and tell him he gets to sleep in. I tried to tell her before I left.

She'll learn. Or not lol funny I just realized the only guy they had in dispatch isn't there anymore. Haven't heard him on the phone in a couple months now. He was kind of an ###. He didn't last long.

 

We go through a few people in dispatch. I didn't think my dispatcher would last since hes a young kid, late 20s. Drinks that fancy Voss bottled water. But he seems to have a knack for the business.

 

Isn't this the same laws are meant to be broken guy?

 

We've kept a pretty stable group since I've been here but last month they moved some people around and got some new ones and we can sure tell it. The girl that used to plan me was good. She got promoted to head of truckload so she isn't planning anymore. Her replacement has been rather slow to catch on.

They try to keep all girls in planning/dispatch the reasoning being there will be fewer shouting matches lol I think that generally is true with our group. The one experiment with the guy failed miserably I think that's why he's gone. He and I didn't click from the first call and I wasn't the only one. He was one of those condescending 'I'm at the computer I know better than you' types. Yeah that lasted about a half a conversation with me lol.

 

There's a couple of foxes in our dispatch office......
