Owner Operator Dispatch service?

Do not worry all loads are high paying some more so than others.

 

You believe it to be a false sentiment?

 

Having your wife do it is one thing. Have you ever seen a contract for one of these dispatch services? I saw one a couple of weeks ago where they were charging 15% of the gross and also working in conjunction with a couple of factors who were taking their cut above that 15%. Self dispatching is really not so difficult. It takes a little effort is all. I can run circles around any dispatch service out there guaranteed and do it for better averages too. Nobody works harder than me for me. Ask someone who's being dispatched by a service what they know about any particular lane and see what kind of blank stare you get. They're too busy just driving.

Nope, never seen one cause I've never ran under my own authority.

 

I tried a dispatch service, I pull a step and it would help,,,if I could find someone that cared, really cared. But, tried one and that did not work out at all,,,so, unless someone can share a number to someone that actually cares about the words they speak, the work they do and the business they run,,,I will continue to dispatch myself. Hell, even the guy whose authority I run under, doesn't put forth half the effort I do, on the little time I have to dispatch myself, and I already pay him 18%. I could have his dad do it, and his dad would do a much better job but, I choose not to. For me, a dispatch service would be worth it, if I had all that I mentioned above. It takes me too much time to find my loads some days but, I have made thus far.
