    Not only do Michigan Lefts NOT make any sense(about as much sense as those right hand loops for left hand turns), but Michigan Lefts and trucks do NOT agree with each other.

    Michigan Left==Michigan's sloppy version of a traffic circle

    I hate traffic circles too.

    How much gas and diesel is wasted on Michigan Lefts anyway?

    The route the city wants you to take has a railroad viaduct 150 yards down the road, so you cannot see any oncoming traffic. The speed limit increases from 45 to 55 at that point also. Not to mention in marquette every one took drivers ed on the short bus, so 55 means 70.
