or interpreted as the guy that somehow idled away an 1/8th of tanks in one night?
I only have 75G tanks and they won't run dry in that time at that level!

rare occurrence, I feel for the brother driver. we all made crap decisions or forgot. lessoned learned. OP never runs dry again.bottomdumpin Thanks this.

Oh and you're going to need some new filters sooner then later since its run so low. But that's neither here nor there, food for thought when it shows signs of tank filth.

Loosen that bolt on the left of the primer pump. Bottom left in your photo. Pump until no more air bubbles close the bolt then pump more, you will feel the pressure build. Then crank it over and it will start shortly.
Looks like a 1 inch bolt head but is actually the bleeder.Straight Stacks, peterbilt_2005 and lots of character Thank this. -
@passingthru69 suggestion is better since you don't have a filter wrench. You've found the manual primer pump attached to the top of the filter housing.
@cnsper said it before I could finish. He is correctpassingthru69 and lots of character Thank this. -
Some gauges are not very accurate. Had a t600 in our fleet years ago if it got to 1/4 tank on the gauge you better be close to a fuel pump. Several drivers including me ran out with that truck. Iwas lucky only about 20 feet to pump. Primed filters and we were good to go.
Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
the pumping worked- kind of. but i didnt make it to the pump. im trying all the steps again. and i killed the battery.
