Hi all and thanks again for all help... OK here is the deal i have a 95 fld with an 11.1 and when the engine makes power and pulls i get like i wanna say vibration but it isnt its more like a rough roar that you feel in the whole truck... This happens only when its pulling and making power and torque.. If i take the RPMS up in neutral its smooth as can be or lets say shes pulling a hill and the fuel comes on here comes the roughness soon as you crest the hill and it cruising its smooth only when making power... Any Ideas???

Could it be exhaust drone maybe? The engine tone typically changes as you load up an engine vs. reving it under no load.
-
No this is no drone its just more of kinda like when your lugging but your not lugging real rough..Would a damper do this??
-
Yes ^
Is it a mild vibration? Ujoints maybe??
I think you're closer with the damper -
Once years ago I had trouble something like that with a Cummins engine. I told the mechanic that the bell housing was loose, they did not believe me and would do nothing about it and would not check it out. Just a few weeks later they had to put a brand new bell housing on it, the down pins and bolt holes were wallowed out.

Motor mounts, possibly cab mounts. If it's a high speed vibration driveline.
-
Check all mounts, U-joints and ride height. If you don't know the history, I'd change the damper, it's probably way overdue.
lots of character Thanks this. -
Whats actually involved in replacing the damper on a s60 is there a puller involved or do pulleys and damper slide off after the bolts are out???

Possibly clutch slipping under maximum load. Does pedal have free play? Do visual, smell, and heat inspection through the the bottom inspection plate when you come in off the road.
