If it's not on my mvr, how else would they find out about it?

They will have you fill out a "past 12 months" accident/ticket voucher in orientation. It WILL show up if an accident report was filled out whether there were tickets issued or not.

Call the company immediately and ask them if you forgot to put it on your application. Then go from there.
If you lie about it, or try to hide it---they will see it eventually, and there will be ramifications.
Just tell them when you filled out the application, you forgot to mention it because nobody was issued a ticket, and there was minimal damage to both vehicles involved.

I fail to see how you "forgot" about an accident when filling out the application. Honesty is the best course of action. Even if it never shows up you will have that hammer hanging over your head never knowing if or when it's going to drop. Stress kills.

What kind of truck did you rear end? A semi, a pickup? You said the Office came out and filled out a crash report.....do you mean the truck owner office staff? Or a police officer? Were you on a public road or in a parking lot?

How did this truck get in front of you? Was it merging onto a 4 lane highway? How much damage was there to each vehicle? Why was the truck braking....was there other traffic?

No it was just a regular truck. A police officer came out and made a crash report.

I'd tell them about it up front anyway. My hubby got a speeding ticket in Feb, started at a company in March. They said it was fine. In may it showed on his MVR. Safety called him to see where he was. He & the trainer happened to be at the terminal. Went to the guy's office & was told they had to let him go because it was on his MVR. Safety guy knew this before. I ended up driving 8 hours each way to get him because they couldn't or wouldn't get him a bus or plane ticket. We did get $360 via his great recruiter. Just be up front about it anywhere you apply.

Disagree with this statement. Used to drive for a company that believed like you, they changed course after being sued. I left the company with 28 "preventable accidents". After the dust cleared I had 2. If someone loses control of their vehicle on ice and they slide into your truck, there is no way to predict or anticipate it. Guess it would have been preventable if they had maintained control of their car, but I don't think that's what you were alluding to
