I agree. Milks probably where I'm going to go.lots of character Thanks this. -
There you go; not paying attention AGAIN.
Yep, the milk tanker job would be best though.lagbrosdetmi and lots of character Thank this. -
Carolina Cargo and Paschall Truck Lines are where meth addicts and recovering alcoholics apply to.
-
No, both those companies do drug tests. Don't believe everything you hear in a truckstop or read on the internet. I'm off this thread.....good bye!G.Anthony Thanks this.

Actually it was. I myself argued with a former boss about preventables and how some just can't be. Well he split hairs and in the end. Every accident is preventable. My example to him, "what if I'm driving and the truck suddenly falls into a sinkhole?"
His reply, "if roadcrews were up to speed and saw how water flowed in that area and where it may cause problems, then they could have mitigated the situation and prevented a truck from falling in. Like diverting traffic away from the questionable area."
Like a typical boss. They just don't see that #### happens and really I could have tried the 79,000 different ways to prevent it at the time, but I didn't have enough time. -
When most people think of "preventable accident" as it applies to truck drivers it means where to apply blame. Most of the time that's the driver of the truck. Your boss thinks like a lawyer. There is always someone to sue

please do not throw insults towards me. i was merely suggesting that you go back to your former employer, before all this crap happened to you (and that is IF they will take you back, it was worth a suggestion, nothing else). you really ought to change your attitude, otherwise you will be doomed to be bashed from now on from many others.
as it is now, you got Chinatown to step out and away.....and he (like a few others here, me included) are not some that you want to piss off.
and i should add, that you never really did mention from the beginning, who you were working for, when all this crap happened. if it was with Swift, then you should have said so, in your FIRST POSTING.
by leaving out important information, like if it was at Swift this all happened at, how was anyone supposed to know..??????????????????????????????????
so for me to say "can you go back to where you got the 7 months time in", how would i know if it was Swift, where you screwed up at..........????????????????????Last edited: Aug 21, 2015
rayraythetrucker, lots of character and Vilhiem Thank this. -
I agree... And like Anthony stated, Chinatown is not someone you want mad at you.
Of us all he's the one that keeps up with what carrier is where, hires where and the like.
Your choices are your choices. So I won't lecture. I personally don't care what you do, but I like to see others succeed and do well.
I can't really say you've lost anything by my leaving your posts as well, but I gotta say... You were given some advice from a credible source. And then tossed it back in their face.
Good luck to you. And don't forget what you did manage to learn. "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it." -Ben franklinlots of character and G.Anthony Thank this. -
Thanks for the advice everyone, good, or bad. I'm now talking to the tanker milk company. The pays about 6c less then the flatbed company, but the tanker experince will be invaluable opening up a basket of high paying jobs in a few years.
And to "chinatown" no harsh feelings brother. But when someone mentions Carolina cargo, or ptl, everyone knows those both are last stop companies. CC and ptl may piss test, but meth is out of your system in 3 days.
And to anthony aka "super trucker" relax. The Internet is serious buisness.
