Last time I was in wisconsin it was minus 30, all of the seals in my air valves froze so I couldn't go anywhere, and even with the front grill covered my heater was blowing 50 degree air. Hopefully you will have a better time.

No doubt, and the people are wicked nice. I started out with a company in Wisconsin. Went here, there, and everywhere. Mostly California to Wisconsin back and forth. I'm excited to get back.

First week of a fuel hauler down. Hauled my first gasoline load ever. The Truck and Trailer combination is kind of different, but feels much safer than this smoothbore tank I'm used to pulling. There's no front to back liquid surge but the side to side is crazy. Watching that back trailer move around was pretty crazy too, but I'm getting used to it.
The racks in my area are pretty straight forward. We hit Chevron, Tesoro and Shell a few times. It is my understanding, that these rack operators are complete Nazis about the slightest infraction. If you happen to accidentally let a fart slip out of your bum while hooking up the vapor recovery hose, you will get a lifetime ban at Shell, and lose your job. Likewise, if you so much as sneeze or look at the operator in a manner which could be interpreted as even slightly disrespectful, they will cut your arms off and tie the bleeding stumps off off with a diesel-soaked tourniquet, and lock you out for seven days.
We got the basics covered for unloading. Put the cones out, secure the fill area, get the veedor root, make sure the load fits, take out the vapor recovery hose first, hook it up to the tank, then to the vapor recovery on the fills. don't mix the products. think about it before you drop the product.
This is much more straight forward than hauling food grade products and the company I got on with offers exceptional opportunities. I think I"ll stick it out here for a couple of years and then try to get on with Tesoro.Cali kid Thanks this. -
