    Sounds like an XY shifter which is common for those. If that's the problem you're looking at $2k plus. Doesn't take long to replace once they diagnose it and get the part.

    Had trouble last week with ZF tranny, found out it was a disconnected sensors that's not hard to spot

    $2k???? You got screwed if you ever paid that much. $700 for the part, a few connections, four bolts and you're back in business

    Going Forward: Call around to Carriers asking if they work on Out Side Trucks.

    If, they're using the same model truck...similar problems being worked thru.

    The Carrier may not have the extra downtime that your having waiting to be diagnosed.

    El problem is the truck don't run and is in the freightliner dealer yard parket.I talk with freightliner and he tell me.he think before the weekend to make a diagnosis. I am waiting in me hotel room 7 miles from freightliner
