There is an outfit IN Florida that specializes in aircraft components; kind of an east coast version of Southern Pride. Name escapes my memory at the moment. Both hire on owner ops; teams especially. From my understanding it is only the really expedited stuff that pays above average.
Any Jet engine/ avaition equipment haulers out there?

Whole lotta waiting. They don't wait on you. At all. You're the cheap transportation. Air freight and engines being mounted cost exponential amounts compared to trucking. You sit at airports.
Insurance is something else entirely. $20m value each piece last few I did. Will your underwriter cover that?hipshot and KenworthGuyNH Thank this. -
I've also hauled out of the GE warehouse/plant?? once and almost lost the load when I was taking pics with my cell phone.. guy came over to make sure I deleted them.

I know nothing about aviation related transportation so therefore I have nothing constructive to add.
Moving On.
Oh and you don't need a rolling house to do this type of work, your not likely to find anything decent through a broker and I also heard that episode of Landline Now where they were talking about the surge in the Aerospace sector of flatbedding which suddenly has my inbox filling up with people looking for information.KenworthGuyNH and L.B. Thank this.
