c15 acert low boost

    hello all.... i have a 06 c15 acert with low boost under hard pull its about 19 lbs havent found anything leaking all boots clamps cac all good but the las 2 manifold bolts are broke off with soapy water its shows leaking bad will that cause it to have low boost kinda thought being its the manifold it would be kinda like a out put of exhaust ... help plz thanks

    yep!!..... also check your cac for leaks. you will have to plug both ends and pressurize with about 30lbs with a gauge to see if it leaks off.

    had cac cked and all the boots and bellows the only thing i cand find it the two manifold bolts end closest to front of the motor broke off...

    I would get those broken bolts replaced first. Air is lazy and it'll take the path of least resistance. Another thing that'll affect boost is the air filters. If they're getting dirty you won't be able to get enough air to build high boost. I would start with those and go from there.

    ya i will get it done wiych i was going to anyhow but was jusy wondering if thats my boost problem my air fileters a fleet filters about 2 weeks old.. lord hope that will fix it..

    I'd have a good look at the high pressure turbo as well. Pop it off and inspect the fins and make sure it's spinning freely. Not a difficult task. Just time.
